15 more die in Karachi violence: No decision to call army

 

Karachi the commercial seaport of Pakistan continues to burning and bleeding on Monday with 15 more people died in separate violent acts, taking the death toll to more than 100 in last seven days.

Various incidents of violence, target killings and ethnic riots keeps on going throughout the day, while the MQM has called for ‘mourning day’ on Tuesday, (today) supported by different political, religious and commercial groups.

Yet there is no final decision, made by the civil government to call army so as to control the deteriorated situation. Differences between the ruling party exist in this regard.
