9/11 Anniversary: Former President George W. Bush has paid silent tribute to September 11 victims

 

With his wife, Laura, Former President George W. Bush placed a wreath of white flowers by the 9/11 memorial stone embedded in the wall outside Corridor 4, while paying a silent tribute to September 11 victims at the Pentagon—which is near where hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the building, killing 184 people.

Even with short ceremony on Saturday, was defense secretary, Leon Panetta, former Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Admiral Mike Mullen.

Bush was Shanksville, Pennsylvania, to head later Saturday for the dedication of United Flight 93 Memorial. It also President Barack Obama in New York on Sunday Join the 10 anniversary of the attacks.
