American Tennis Star Serena Williams wins fifth Wimbledon singles title

The youngest of five girls, Serena Williams has long enjoyed playing the role of the spoiled baby sister. Serena Williams, who had already removed the defending Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova and second seed Victoria Azarenka, who won his first major title this year season at the Australian Open, downed third-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska Saturday to win his fifth Wimbledon title and 14th career major championship.

Williams voice trembling with emotion, thanked their parents, sisters, partners and trainers struck again during the interview after the court’s 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 victory over Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland.

Shortly after Williams, 30, dominated the 2010 championship at Wimbledon, had a leg injury that required surgery, the pulmonary embolism that contribute to it away from the tennis for almost a year.
