Canadian Country Music Festival gets attraction

In 2009, Count Kit Andrew was at a Toby Keith concert when he first knew the massive drawing power of country music in Canada.  I’d never been a huge country fan, but then, right under my nose — 45 minutes north from where I live — I saw thousands and thousands of people jam this show that had barely been reported,” pointed out Andrew, founder of the Country Music Festival, a three-day concert beginning on August 26 outside of Barrie, Ont.

In fact, in today’s pop-music market — where Blake Shelton sits beside Christina Aguilera on NBC’s The Voice, and Lady Antebellum makes record sales with Lady Gaga—country music is no longer ignored by America’s mainstream media.

But while critics of the ink on rock bands such as Arcade Fire and pop acts like Justin Bieber, the largest country of Canada will continue to spread musicians often ignored.

With the Canadian Country Music Awards in Hamilton, Ontario. Provided on September 12, it is time to change the melody.

The most popular country artists in Canada today is without a doubt, Harry Reid. At 36, Scotland, in Brampton, Ontario. Was raised, Reid was not only nominated for the Country Music Award at the Juno Awards this year, but was also nominated artist and album of the year.
