In wake of various predictions, and bets, Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a girl on Wednesday morning at Seven Hills Hospital, Andheri. But there was no official announcement of this news of the latest arrival in Bollywood’s first family.
Nevertheless, the 38-year-old former Miss World gave birth to a daughter at the private Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai. Just six hours ago at the time of writing, her 35-year-old husband Abhishek Bachchan announced on Twitter. I am Dada to the cutest baby girl.
The new father, Abhishek was greatly pleased at the good news. Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. Both Aishwarya and the baby are doing great and taking some much needed rest—I am trying my level best to get rid of this caffeine high and get some sleep too.
As regards the coverage of the Bachchan’s good news Indian media was silent, after television broadcasters had agreed to rein in their usually hyperactive reporting of the family’s private life last week.
