It is particular attention that the winner of the hit TV show will be announced tonight following a final bake-off between Frances, of Market Harborough, Kimberley Wilson and Ruby Tandoh.
The 31-year-old Frances, is keeping tight-lipped about the result of the final, which was filmed in June, but said taking part in the show had left her “hungry to learn more” about baking.
“She told the final is definitely eventful – the pressure is certainly on,”.
However, Frances also said presenter Sue Perkins told her at the beginning of the series she had “raised the bar” with her creativeness. And she said: “I have sketchpads dotted around with ideas in, but they just come to me at irregular times.
“I love playing with words. Somebody usually says something which will spark something else off.” Speaking of her experience on the show, Frances said: “But the whole process has been a roller-coaster.
